ABOUT THE SHOW
We have all done double takes. They can be triggered for any number of reasons. What did I just see? Wait, was that what I think it is? No, that isn't what I thought it was. . .
It can be the unrecognizable that intrigues, or something familiar that initially registers as unfamiliar, or even a thing that seems familiar but is, in fact, anything but. In each case, we feel the need -- or perhaps a compulsion -- to look again. To try to reconcile that first glimpse with the lingering feeling it caused. The images in Double Take evoke that sensation. They may require a closer look to decipher, may not be as they first appear, or may be deceptively familiar. In any case: made you look twice.
