Neither retrospective nor survey, Making It Up As I Go embodies the trajectory of Hunter’s practice over the past 20+ years. This opening also marks the launch of Evidence of Life, Abby Johnston’s richly pictorial exploration of Hunter’s life and practice since the 2006 publication of Johnston’s highly acclaimed biography Lissa Hunter: Histories Real & Imagined.
