Carson Jackson is a contemporary abstract artist whose work is a reflection of his life's journey: a treasure hunt of experiences, moments, and images, each lovingly transmuted into his art.

Dance of the Untamed by Carson Jackson is an evocative exploration that blends the contrasting elements of our untamed and tamed selves, presenting a compelling visual narrative. This collection is a testament to the ceaseless tug-of-war between our intrinsic freedoms and the external boundaries that seek to define us. Drawing inspiration from nature, these works delve deeper into the complex interplay between the wild and the controlled, between the primal and the refined.

This series is a celebration of the untamed spirit within us all and invites viewers on a journey through the untouched facets of their identities, urging them to confront their most authentic selves. How often do we dare to dance with our untamed selves, to confront the beautifully chaotic dance of life unbound by society's constraints? Inspired by wild horses of the Outer Banks, whose strength and resilience in the face of nature's fury mirror the struggles and triumphs of the human spirit, the series invites viewers to reflect on the parallels between equine spirit and human nature. These horses, untamed and free, serve as a powerful metaphor for the journey of Carson's ancestors, who traversed the tumultuous path to freedom from the Castro regime in Cuba.
