Tina Feingold
Tina Feingold received an MFA from Boston University and a BFA from the University of Arizona. She has exhibited internationally and taught painting and drawing at universities across the country. Current works feature oils on canvas, panel, and paper -- her abstract presentations incorporate images reflective of her early training as a figurative painter.
My work evolves by applying layer upon layer of oil paint and mixed media. As light, color and space intermingle, complex and intimate internal landscapes emerge, taking the painting out beyond its surface reality. My primary intention is to develop a pulsating, airy atmosphere in which the images can breathe.
