Nevan Swanson
Nevan Swanson is a photographer and filmmaker. As a 2018 Thomas J. Watson Fellow, he embarked on a self-designed project outside the US, wherein he explored the relationship between documentation and experience. Through his work, he considers what documents hold in themselves and confronts notions of memory and loss, keeping and sharing. Nevan studied narrative filmmaking at FAMU International Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bowdoin College. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
